In this era of rapid globalization, increasing competition, and doing more with less, it is important that we manage conflict quickly and effectively so that we can focus on the work at hand.  One of the most popular and effective conflict management tools is mediation.

Mediation offers a constructive process for resolving differences and conflicts between individuals, groups, and organizations.  It is an alternative to avoidance, destructive confrontation, prolonged litigation, or violence.

The AGTS Mediator's Academy was developed by two highly experienced mediators, one who is also a skilled instructional design specialist.  The 40-hour program meets the requirements established by the Arizona Dispute Resolution Association (ADRA) for becoming trained as a mediator.
